Technologies Edge has begun the final stages of the Kannapolis Cityworks PLL implementation. The City has chosen to use the software with their Code Enforcement, Planning, Permitting, and Zoning staff. The project will be considered complete once users are fully trained and using Freeance’s Mobile Cityworks PLL application for field data entry.

The project was kicked off earlier in the year and PLL has been live since June. Over the past several weeks, users have been testing and suggesting improvements to the work flows and reports.

Project Manager, Jerry Laliberte, commented on the project, “We have learned a lot about the implementation of the product over the past several months. We designed the their work flows, processes, and letters from scratch and we still managed to it in a fraction of the time of these typical projects.”

Technologies Edge offers IT and software consulting. The firm has worked with Cityworks developer, Azteca Systems, over the past 12 years. In 2014, they became an official implementation partner.
